This stunning, feather-leafed, solitary palm has a copper crownshaft that sets it apart visually from many palms its size. The waxy hue of its crownshaft is offset by its shiny, glossy green leaves. It can grow to 40-50 feet overall but is unfortunately in decline in its habitat of origin, due to unknown causes.
Requirements Satakentia grows well in alkaline to acidic soils with a medium growth rate. It can tolerate brief cold snaps down to freezing temperatures and has some salt tolerance.
