Royal palms are used commonly across Florida and beyond due to their extreme height in cultivation as well as their clean, gray trunks. A sleek and humbling pinnate palm, the Royal hails from Cuba where it is the country's national tree. It can reach heights up to 100 feet if well positioned.
Requirements This palm prefers a position in full sun to partial shade and can tolerate loamy or sandy soil. It is also tolerant of acidic soils. Minimal salt tolerance.
