This fast growing, flowering tree produces creamy, delicate blooms in a variety of hues! Its shades of pink, yellow, orange and magenta are a special sight that exemplify the vividness a tropical landscape can provide. It is a popular species to cultivate in bonsai form despite defoliating in colder seasons. Plumeria will continue to photosynthesize without flowering and can see consistent vertical growth up to 25 feet overall. Their most recognizable and traditional use is strung up as necklaces called "leis", a traditional Hawaiian accessory.

Requirements These trees love full sun and need it consistently to thrive. They prefer slightly acidic and well-drained soil, and have a moderate salt tolerance. Soil should dry completely between irrigation.
