Common Name Ivory Cane Palm
Type of Plant Palm

Most often seen in habitat as an understory tree, the Ivory Cane Palm is native to many island rainforests. It is prized ornamentally for striking, vertical leaves on clumping trunks and a white-green crownshaft. It is full enough to provide privacy, and aesthetically interesting enough to work as a statement installation as well.

Requirements Consistently moist and well-drained soil is ideal for this palm, and filtered light to ensure its leaves remain a deep green. As with any plant that is kept in a highly humid environment, fungicide may be regularly applied without harm!
