This hallmark landscape choice of South Florida has a knobby, slender trunk that grows to approximately 3 inches thick. It reaches a moderate average height of 12+ feet overall, with 5 to 7 foot spread. This palm can be cultivated with a particular, ornamental bend in its trunk and is also a popular in doubles or triples.
Requirements Phoenix roebelenii prefers acidic soils but tolerates slightly alkaline soils. This palm tolerates short cold snaps to high 20s and has some salt tolerance. It should be planted with full sun and watered semi regularly.
