Licuala grandis

With circular, undivided, glossy green leaves, Licuala grandis is a notable favorite among collectors. It remains relatively small into maturity and will max out in height at 10 feet, typically. Its petioles are toothed and it makes an incredibly attractive understory addition.

If introduced to sun when fully grown, a very humid climate is recommended to prevent shock. It is a tropical native, meaning that it should also be protected from temperatures lower than 30 degrees whenever possible.
