Native Solitary, fan-leafed palm. Trunks to 5 inches thick and rough. Leaves a medium green above and bluish silver underneath. Overall height to 25 ft. with a 6 ft. spread.

Requirements Prefers alkaline to slightly acidic, well-drained soils. Growth rate slow. Can tolerate short cold snaps to just below freezing. Has excellent salt tolerance.
