Eucalyptus deglupta

Common Name Rainbow Eucalyptus
Type of Plant Tree
This stunning Eucalyptus matures to reveal many bright shades of bark beneath! Its outermost layer tends toward heather purple, while layers below may reveal shades of pink, orange, bright green and yellow! Because of this, it is grown ornamentally but also for pulp production due to its incredibly fast growth rate and overall size (100 feet OA in cultivation or 200'OA in habitat)!
Requirements Eucalyptus deglupta prefers to mature in partial shade, then full sun as it reaches maturity, when it will begin to provide shade to everything below! Whether chalky, clay, loamy or sandy soil, this tree's position should be kept regularly moist and should be well-drained.
