Known by a series of descriptive names, this species is often called Queen Emma, Giant Spider or Milk and Wine Lily. This stunning varietal boasts magenta leaves, white and purple whimsically shaped flowers and a considerable spread. It can reach heights of nearly 6 feet with a spread of equal size. It has a moderate growth rate and adds a pop of color between canopy and groundcover plants.
Requirements With a high water requirement, this Lily is happy in swamp, bog or environment near a body of water. It can handle full to partial sun and prefers to live in Cold Hardiness Zone 10 but can handle lower temperatures if given a protected position in the landscape.
