Solitay, fan-leafed palm. Trunk to 8 inches in diameter topped with tight green leaves and a petticoat of old dead leaves. Height to 25 feet with 12 foot spread.

Requirements Grows best in alkaline to neutral soils. Growth rate very slow. Good salt tolerance. Can tolerate cold snaps into high 20s well. Can tolerate short term flooding.
