Solitary, fan-leafed palm with trunk covered in tightly woven fiber. Trunk to 5 inches thick and leaves light silver underneath. Height to 40 feet with 6 to 8 foot spread.

Requirements Prefers alkaline to neutral soils. Growth fast for a Coccothrinax. Easily hybridizes. Can tolerate short cold snaps in high 20s. Good salt tolerance.
