This highly collectible member of the Coccothrinax genus has palmate leaves with silver undersides, is very coastal tolerant and has an incredibly ornamental trunk. It is solitary, with a caliper around 6-8", and is covered with exposed leaf bases and a thatched burlap from top to bottom which can be used to make brooms and brushes. It can reach heights up to 20'OA in habitat.

Requirements Drought and salt tolerant, this palm prefers well drained soil and full sun. It can survive brief cold snaps down to the mid-20's.
