Solitary and pinnate with a green trunk and tan crownshaft, this palm can reach a height of nearly 25 feet in an optimal rainforest environment. Can be identified via "fuzzy"/"dreadlocked" inflorescences and reigned leaflets.

Requirements Prefers a moist environment but can withstand short snaps of frost. Soil should drain freely, and partial shade is best when this tree is young though it can transition to full sun once mature.
