Description:
Solitary, fan-leafed palm. Tannish trunks to 5 inches thick and rough. Leaves a glossy medium green. Overall height to 35 feet with a 6 foot spread.
Requirements:
Prefers alkaline to slightly acidic, well-drained soils. Growth rate slow. Can tolerate short cold snaps to just below freezing. Has excellent salt tolerance.
