Description:
Solitary, fan-leafed palm. Trunk 1 foot thick and often covered in old leaf bases. Leaves dark green on top, bluish green underneath. Height to 50+ ft by 10 ft spr.

Requirements:
Grows best in alkaline to slightly acidic moist soils. Growth rate medium. Tolerates brief cold snaps to the high 20s. Has slight salt tolerance.
