Description:
Solitary, feather-leafed, crownshaft palm. Bulging trunk can be 18 inches thick at its thickest point. Leaves are a gray green. Height to 40 ft. with a 12-15 ft. spread.
Requirements:
Prefers alkaline to neutral, well drained soils. Growth rate very slow. Can tolerate occasional cold dips to just under freezing. Has good salt tolerance.
