Description:
Solitary, fan-leafed palm. Trunk to 3 inches thick. Undivided leaves a deep glossy green and 6 feet across. Overall height to 15 feet with a 10-12 foot spread.

Requirements:
Prefers acidic to somewhat alkaline, moist, well-drained soils. Growth rate slow. Handles short cold snaps to freezing. Very slight salt tolerance.
