Solitary, feather-leafed palm. Hairy trunk to 4 inches thick and will often branch. Leaves a medium, glossy green. Overall height to 20 feet with a 8-12 foot spread.
Requirements:
Prefers acidic to slightly alkaline wet soils. Growth rate medium. Will tolerate short cold snaps to freezing. Has slight salt tolerance.
