Description: Solitary, fan-leafed palm. 10 inch thick trunk holds old leaf bases and leaves lightly silver underneath. Overall height to 40 feet by 12 foot spread.
Requirements: Grows well in slightly acidic to alkaline soils. Growth rate moderate. Can tolerate cold snaps into mid 20s. Some salt tolerance. Can tolerate short term flooding.
